Molde - Varden Viewpoint Shuttle

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the Varden viewpoint. Our shuttle service will take you comfortably from 0 to 407 m in just 15 minutes to the 407 m high Varden mountain. A spectacular view of the city, its fjord landscape and the magnificent mountain panorama of the Romsdal Alps with its 222 peaks can be enjoyed from the top. The Moldemarka, as the popular hiking and skiing area of the Moldenser is called, offers numerous outdoor activities at any time of year. The Varden is an absolute MUST DO while visiting Molde.

There are two options for the way back: A leisurely ride back to the harbor on our shuttle or something more active on the approx. 4.5 km long hiking trail. For the hike, please calculate approx. 1 hour walking time back to the harbor.

Both options lead past the Romsdal Museum. The open-air museum with reconstructed historic houses gives you an impression of the history of the region. You can also refresh yourself there with coffee and Svele (Norwegian pancakes). ( Entrance fee, coffee and Svele are not included in the price)
