Kristiansund – Havstien Hiking Tour

Havstien is a short tour and round trip in Kristiansund that starts and ends in Rokilde. We go from the cruise pier about 15 – 20 minutes to the beginning for the hiking path. On the way we have a look on the kirkelandet church and Vanndammen. The trip is like a mountain trip in the spring rocks with only about 200 m up hill and offers varied hiking terrain that suits most people.

From Rokilde, the path goes in the direction of the view over Litjsand. Then there is an easy climb down towards Storsanden and the path follows the shore in the direction of Klubba. At these wage treatment plant of Kristiansund municipality, the path continues up towards the German bunkers, where the Second World War is clearly visible in the many facilities built by the German occupying power. There is a great view of the ocean, and you can see Grip in a northern direction.The tour continues down to Klubba, which is maybe the most important outdoor area near Kristiansund.

The path goes further up towards the Lions bridge. There have been two construction stages in Havstien. The most traveled part has been frequently used by hikers. Now Kristiansund and Nordmøre Tourist Association hope that many people will also walk the new part of the Havstien.

The new section of the Havstien continues in the forest towards the view over Storsand and down to Rokilde again.
