It's quite easy to answer: yes, the love but the love of the land. In Germany I studied ethnology and cultural history, and for my masters I had a main focus in folk tales and fairy tales. And emigration to Norway has always been a childhood wish anyway. So it was only a matter of time until I ended up here - and the job as a guide gives me the opportunity to get to all the beautiful places in Western Norway and to show them to the people who come along - and also I can tell them one or two troll fairy tales. The most beautiful moments and trips for me are the ones where I go with a group into the deep wilderness of mountains and forests for a hike, away from the quite usual tourist attraction. I love showing them what nature has to offer.
